Sidenote: I would be REMISS if I didn't point out that what I am hearing is VERY SIMILAR TO MY FOLKS FROM THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE.. Not saying that he stole it... simply saying that if you folks LOVE THIS, there are DEFINITELY MORE FOLKS OUT HERE DOING THIS TYPE OF MUSIC. Well..... Go see for yourself...

. Rarely, and I MEAN RARELY, do Nic and Phonte announced things that aren't already FINISHED so I'm already counting 'this bucket' on the scoreboard. I don't forsee any delays. Maybe some additions but no delays. Truly can't wait to see where they are taking us next on this musical journey as Zo!'s ManMade has already provided the perfect backdrop for this Summer's music for me. They always come different with each project and have been known to do the unexpected.

I was too busy enjoying it. lol Life is a lil hectic right now so I couldn't give it the attention that I normally would in print. That's coming though. In the meantime, There's this dope concept video that Kenneth Price shot.

While I am over here enjoying the FE Music: The Reworks album (Which I still haven't written about but trust me, it is coming), I am EQUALLY excited about the new music that my man Zo! has coming for us.
As you can READ below, the album, which is due out May 21, 2013, features some very dope artists. It looks like another one in the belt for FE. I am so grateful for the day I got introduced to Jeanne's musical abilities due to the 'An Evening With The Foreign Exchange' taping. Every since then, I have been ENAMORED with her talent, listening to her music and catching her via whatever medium I could. For the last two days I have been listening to the lush sounds of her new album (Which can be heard on her WEBSITE for free if you want to listen before buying it). I just wanted to enjoy it a bit before I wrote about it. I figured I at least should do that EVEN THOUGH I HAD NO DOUBT it would be good. It is very good. Just in time for Fall. Her blend of her Southern roots, Jazz and classical training always amounts to a good time for my ears. Very diverse artist.
I think she has proven she can tackle whatever 'genre' of music you through her way and I flat out refuse to put her in a box musically. Remember, she is a CLASSICALLY TRAINED artist, having toured all over North America with Grammy Award winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti as well as her many performances with The Foreign Exchange.
Enough about that though...Lets get into her latest video and then I will post up some stuff that will further showcase her talents... (If you are lucky enough, one of her songs may have come up on the music player when you entered the site. There are a few on there after all.)
