BlackBerry London… Is this the first sighting of BBX running on a BlackBerry? — RIMarkable

BlackBerry London… Is this the first sighting of BBX running on a BlackBerry? — RIMarkable

Now I no longer own a Blackberry but I know some folks who do who will relish this news... After rumor after rumor....here's a look at the phone itself.

Here is a lil bit about it....

The BlackBerry London is supposedly thinner than an iPhone 4s and is equipped with a TI OMAP dual-core CPU clocked to 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Video of the what is 'supposed' to be the new BB Storm 3....

Every new phone that comes out is supposed to be the new Storm. We will see. Thoughts?

As someone who is very interested in purchasing a Thunderbolt, the Extended Battery

I think I may have found my next phone...The Droid Bionic....

I was in the Verizon store not too long ago, messing with the current selection of phones they offer. I actually like some of them. However, I see how Androids are coming out and being replaced like rapper's groupie list so I decided to hold off on REALLY looking until CSE which was today. I was not disappointed. We will see what comes of this phone....and what the Thunderbolt is hitting for..

Supposedly this is the new Blackberry Storm..

I would say it is the 3 but you never know with Blackberry. All I know is it is coming...

You can see more and read more here....

It is hard for me to get hype about a phone that basically looks just like the original one (Which I have btw...) Other than running on the new operating system, I am sure it is just a 'refresh'....

4G iPhone??? Interesting...Engadget says they have proof..

Go here and read for yourself....

What's new

• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x460 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic
What's changed

• The back is entirely flat, made of either glass (more likely) or ceramic or shiny plastic in order for the cell signal to poke through. Tapping on the back makes a more hollow and higher pitched sound compared to tapping on the glass on the front/screen, but that could just be the orientation of components inside making for a different sound
• An aluminum border going completely around the outside
• Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS (but seemingly higher resolution)
• Everything is more squared off
• 3 grams heavier
• 16% Larger battery
• Internals components are shrunken, miniaturized and reduced to make room for the larger battery

This Is Apple's Next iPhone
Why we think it's definitely real

We're as skeptical—if not more—than all of you. We get false tips all the time. But after playing with it for about a week—the overall quality feels exactly like a finished final Apple phone—and disassembling this unit, there is so much evidence stacked in its favor, that there's very little possibility that it's a fake. In fact, the possibility is almost none. Imagine someone having to use Apple components to design a functioning phone, from scratch, and then disseminating it to people around the world. Pretty much impossible. Here are the reasons, one by one.

It has been reported lost
Apple-connected John Gruber—from Daring Fireball—says that Apple has indeed lost a prototype iPhone and they want it back:

So I called around, and I now believe this is an actual unit from Apple — a unit Apple is very interested in getting back.

Sprint's WiMAX-powered Evo 4G.

The Evo 4G weighs 170g and measures 120.5 mm by 67 mm by 13 mm – it's definitely a big phone, but it's still within the realm of reason. The phone runs Android 2.1 on a 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 chipset, swapping between EVDO Rev. A, WiMAX and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g on demand. The phone is dominated by a 4.3-inch, 800-by-480 65,000-color TFT LCD capacitive touch screen. There's an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel unit on the front - yes, it has a front-facing camera. The camera also records 720p, high-def video, which it can play through an HDMI out jack on the bottom. Its 512 Mbytes of RAM is assisted by a MicroSD slot supporting up to 32GB cards; an 8-Gbyte flash card comes with the phone.

Motorola Droid Phone Review: Google Android 2.0

Link to article below:

Looking to buy this phone here? Here is a mini review for you. I wish everyone would stop saying 'I-Phone' killer every time a phone comes out or that they would let go of their 'hate' for the I-Phone. It is a phone PEOPLE! Shit..You either buy it or you don't. It is that simple. That said...

"The Motorola Droid Phone that will be available on the Verizon network by the end of the month will come with the much talked about Google Android 2.0 OS. BGR has already spent a little time with the phone and thought they would offer a mini review; the in-depth review will come later.

The Droid phone has a slim design, although slightly thicker than the iPhone 3GS. However, we have to remember that the Droid does have a QWERTY-slider, making it the thickest handset of its kind. BGR believe that this is the fastest Android smartphone they have used; this surely has something to do with running on Android 2.0 and its TI OMAP3430 processor.

The capacitive display is a dream to use, BGR admit that it is the best screen that they have seen or used on an Android phone. The unit that they have is not final, so its QWERTY keyboard with soft-touch rubberized keys could change in the final production model.

This is the most impressive Google Android phone to-date; Verizon and Motorola have done a great job. The phone will not hurt iPhone 3GS sales, but Apple will now be looking over its shoulder, wondering what the second generation of this phone will be like."
